Profile Properties – Running External Programs
This profile property enables you to run a program (*.exe, *.com) or a batch file (*.bat, *.cmd) when starting and completing a profile. Consequently, you can shut down a database before creating a backup and restart it when finished. When starting the program the profile is halted until the program has completed. A return value (exit code) of -99 causes the profile to be aborted and no error message will be generated. This profile property isn't available unless Expert Mode is activated.
